Pastor Daniel Maurer has been in the ministry for 27 years, with the last 18 years as pastor of the Delaware Church of God. He holds the position of Co-Chairman of the Examining Board for the Northern Ohio Church of God and also serves as the Chairman of the Usher Committee at state conferences. In addition, Pastor Maurer serves as a Chaplain for the Delaware City Police Department.

Pastor Maurer and his wife, Nickie, have one son and three grandchildren.
